Road Trip

We left Pitman, NJ on Saturday January 12th. We drove 8hrs to Heath, OH to visit with one of our supporting churches there. We were able to stay with the Pastor Tony Romano and his family Saturday through Tuesday morning. We really enjoyed time talking with them and getting to know each other better. Chico even had another chihuahua to play with, Rocco.

From there we headed about an hour to Columbus on Tuesday to visit the Ronyak family. The Scott and Kate are good friends of ours and went through CPCP at To Every Tribe with me, Michele in 2009. It was nice to get to see where they are living and ministering to the Somalis of Columbus. We even got to spend part of the day with one Somali woman they met on Wednesday. We were so blessed by our time with the Ronyaks! They even babysat for us so Chris and I could go out to lunch for a bit.

Thursday and Friday were driving days to LaCrescent, MN. We arrived late afternoon Friday to spend the weekend with the Danielson Family. Their daughters enjoyed playing with Malachi and their son had fun with Chico. We had a comfortable stay inside though it was in the negative degrees outside. We are so thankful for another great supporting church and prayer partners there. Sunday afternoon we spent visiting with Kelly and Sarah Bryant. Kelly is another former CPCP students. Then Sunday night we headed over to another supporting church in Houston, MN. Our brothers and sisters there blessed us with a sweet time

Monday and Tuesday were two long days spent in the car traveling south to TEXAS! We arrived to visit our friends, the Hagler Family, late Tuesday afternoon in Tyler, TX. The Haglers will also be moving down to Oaxaca City the week after us in February. We are having a great time catching up with them after not seeing them for several months since we left language school in Mexico.

Tomorrow, Thursday morning, we will head just north of Dallas which is only about 2 hours from where we are now.

Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray as we finish up the last week or two of our traveling!
